Yoga & Mental Health


A yoga and mental health class is designed to harness the benefits of yoga to support emotional and psychological well-being. The physical component of the class includes a series of gentle yoga poses and stretches, chosen for their ability to release tension, promote relaxation, and improve body awareness. Throughout the session, emphasis is placed on mindfulness and being present in the moment, helping to cultivate a sense of inner peace and clarity.

Specific breathing techniques (pranayama) are incorporated into the class to further enhance relaxation and reduce anxiety. The class may also include elements of guided visualization or positive affirmations to bolster mental resilience and foster a positive outlook. Each session typically concludes with an extended period of savasana (corpse pose), paired with a guided relaxation or a brief meditation, allowing participants to fully integrate the physical and mental benefits of the practice.

This holistic approach not only helps to alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression but also empowers participants with tools for better self-regulation and emotional balance.

Experience the transformative Core Fusion: Yoga-Pilates Blend, an invigorating 60-minute class seamlessly merging the strength-building precision of Pilates with the fluidity and mindfulness of yoga. This dynamic session commences with a gentle warm-up, to prepare the body before the delve into a core-centric journey. Transitioning from yoga sequences, participants engage in purposeful poses like Plank, Boat Pose, and Side Plank, harnessing breath synchronization to activate core muscles.  The class culminates with a soothing cool-down, incorporating relaxing stretches to release tension and restore equilibrium, fostering improved core strength, flexibility, and mindful connection. Suitable for all levels, modifications and challenges are offered to tailor the experience to each participant's needs, ensuring a balanced and transformative fusion of two powerful disciplines.

Mums & Bubs Yoga


Mums and bubs yoga offers a multitude of benefits for both mothers and their infants. This specialized yoga practice fosters a strong bond between the two through gentle exercises and interactive poses, promoting healthy attachment and communication. For mothers, the practice helps regain strength, flexibility, and balance postpartum, addressing physical changes and stress associated with motherhood. The calming and nurturing environment of the class can also contribute to stress reduction and improved mental well-being. Importantly, mums and bubs yoga classes create a supportive community where mothers can share experiences, fostering a sense of solidarity and mutual encouragement during this transformative period of early parenthood.
