As the season shifts, so does our mind and body as we are integrally connected with nature. In Spring, we begin to thaw out after the cold winter. As nature begins to come alive all around us, it inspires us to also begin new ventures, new experiences and spring into action.
Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine which works with the elements and the meridians (energy channels used in Acupuncture), we practice yoga in a way that's in tune with the rhythms of nature. The patterns of the seasons are also reflected in our own body's energetic rhythms.
In this workshop:
Practice Remedial Yoga class for the Spring Season.
Learn about the meridians that dominate this yoga sequence and why they are relevant to spring.
Discussions on how to best care for ourselves in Spring.
Delicious nutritional afternoon tea.
